Prepare yourself for some seriously banging trance from Ashley Smith on the Damaged Records label with her new tune 'Kick Back'…
It’s a very happy new year from Jordan Suckley and his Damaged Records label as they present the brand new tune from trance producer Ashley Smith. Truth be know I don’t know much about this promising new face on the trance production scene but having been introduced to her new release ‘Kick Back’ I want to know more. Here’s a little background info for you if like me you know nothing about her. She’s from Scotland and starting producing as a hobby back in 2012. Trance is what she’s got a passion for the most and last year had released on In Trance We Trust, Afterdark and Extrema Global Music. You don’t get signed to labels like that if your productions don’t hit the mark.

It’s a safe thing to say that her latest single release, and first of 2018 hits the target first time. Damaged Records, the label run by Jordan Suckley, is a very well respected label and one know for bring the more banging variety of trance to the scene. Her new single ‘Kick Back’ fits in with the music policy very well and hits the spot if you’re really into the pumping stuff. What I love about this record is the simplicity of it, it feels stripped back with just the addictive elements on show that make you want to pump your fist in the air. You might well get arm ache pumping away to this as it’s quite the banger. Your only going to notice once the music stops though as this is the kind of record you won’t get tired off. Its just full of neat little chord changes, addictive beats and right at the heart quite a uplifting little melody break.
Conclusion:
Simply put, this is a right banger! I’ve not really heard any of her previous production work but this new tune has really impressed me. If you’re into the banging stuff, its going to do just the same to you. I suggest you pick this one up and whack the volume on loud.
