The very latest single from Simon Patterson ventures into vocal territory with the hugely talented Lucy Pullin providing the harmonics for ‘Fall For You’…
Simon Patterson is one of my favourite producers that’s for sure and I’m sure if you’re a trance fan like me he’s one of yours too. His past records have mostly been on the banging side of things and he’s not that well know for dropping the vocal elements into his tunes. When he does though, he does it very well. When a vocal works, it works and his past vocal efforts have all been quite mighty. Choosing a good vocalist is the key to a good tune and for his latest release he turns to the voice of a familiar one. Lucy Pullin has performed the vocals on a few of his tracks before and is back again for this new one.

There is no doubt he’s chose a good vocalist for his records with past releases like ‘Now I Can Breathe Again’, ‘Fall For You’ and ‘Keep Quiet’. With Simon’s very polished trance producer and Lucy’s gorgeous voice on cue they have crafted together another very good vocal offering with ‘Fall For You’. Production wise on this new tune its right on the money, banging but not quite full on with previous records Simon has produced. It doesn’t need to be full on slamming as the vocal element works with the tempo this tune pumps out perfectly. The main break is where you get the uplifting feel with this record. You find big builds, sweeping chords and the vocal all working together to create a very addictive sound. When all that is said and done, you’re returned to the pumping production Patterson sound with just a flitter of the vocal teases in and out.
Conclusion:
It’s another vocal track that hits all the right spots from Simon Patterson. Lovely vocals from Lucy Pullin once again and a very polished production as you would expect from one of the hottest trance producers on the scene.
