 It took a while to arrive but the debut artist album from Lange, released over 12 years ago will be re-released this month with a very special remastered twin disc edtion…
I had to double check the date when I read about news of this as it was all the way back in 2007 Lange finally released his debut artist album ‘Better Late Than Never’. It didn’t seem that long ago since it got released. It was a very diverse album from Lange and packed full of great tracks. The original CD release sits very nicely in the archive here at i:Vibes.
Good news then Lange fans is this month he will be released a remastered edition of the original album along with a second disc featuring brand new 2019 remixes from tracks featured in the album. Lange announced it on his socials this week.
I've just had my first album, 'Better Late Than Never', remastered and it's getting a re-release by Black Hole Recordings later this month! To spice things up, there are 2019 remixes of some of the key tracks from BLTN on 'disc 2'. There'll also be some signed CDs available too for those who like it tactile!
I finally got around to releasing my debut album in 2007. It was a very proud moment for me, and I guess the most popular track from that album, 'Out Of The Sky', introduced the amazing vocals of Sarah Howells to the trance scene. The album was quite an experimental journey for me and I didn't want it to just be a collection of club tracks.
Did it turn out as hoped? Probably not, I think I hit what I was trying to achieve with BLTN on my 3rd album 'We Are Lucky People'. But there are some good memories on there, with a couple of my personal favourites 'Angel Falls' and 'Songless' included. 127bpm trance in 2007 ;)
