The closure of the clubs and live music scene over the past year gave Protoculture time to reflect and experiment with the result his brand new artist album ‘Lost In Isolation’…
The world has been a hard place to love over the last year or so with life as we known being interrupted and things so you feel just put on pause. Well, now things are just about starting to hit the play button with life as we knew it becoming back to normal. During the time where the club doors were firmly shut a lot us had to spend time with ourselves, locked away with only your own thoughts for company.
For Protoculture, otherwise known as Nate Raubenheimerm a DJ and music producer from South Africa he used this time to craft together a personal collection of brand new tracks with a diverse range of trance fuelled sounds and other genre inspirations. The new album is a 14 strong collection with many progressive, uplifting, driving and melody rich journeys to be had within each track. The album title is taken from a single he released back in January this year called ‘Lost In Isolation’, a title I’m sure many all over the world can relate to.
I’ve had a little listen to the album and its outstanding, full of great thought inspiring moments. It has been released on all the major digital platforms for download and streaming but disappointingly at the moment not available on any physical format. When we embrace the digital world, I’m sure a publishing company can see the value of putting this album on physical media as its certainly one I would reach to put on if the broadband went down. Protoculture is an artist held in high regard for his trance and progressive releases and this would go great with the other fine albums we have had this year on the shelve.
