Afterglow did it again, a superb uplifting song, which is bound to be huge. Plastic Angel doing his thing on the remix!
Firewall aka Lange makes his debut on Afterglow, with this release. His previous songs like ´Drifting Away` made it to nr 9 in the official UK-Single Charts, and this looks to be heading in the same way...
The Original Club Mix starts off with a hard bass. Shortly after that, different elements appear to make it more interesting, but then the melody begins. But before it fully breaks through, you have a hands-in-the-air breakdown, beautiful strings reminding you of good moments you had. But it only last for a short time, till the the melody takes control over the breakdown. This is the kind of song that is meant for dancefloors, not for sitting at home and relaxing to it. When you hear this, you want to dance, simple as that!
The Plastic Angel 2002 Remix starts off on a different note. Elef immediately by adding a new element to it. He adds a new little melody to it, which sounds amazing. The original melody can still be heard throughout the song, but the new melody is just more powerful. The breakdown in this remix is as good, if not better then in the Original Club Mix. More energy present throughout the rest of the song makes this remix my favorite of the two songs.
Both the Original Club Mix and the Plastic Angel 2002 Remix are great songs, but the Plastic Angel remix has that edge, and in my opinion, will get played the most in clubs. This is a must-have for any uplifting fan!
