Finally the review of the new Astral Projection album is here, read and enjoy!
The Astral fans all over the world has been waiting for this review! I Can say that this album is great, contains the same spectacular goatrance style that Astral Projection are known for throughout the years!
1 - Amen, The first track is a good introduction to the album, starts off a little slow and builds-up as a huge monster track. There isn't really much to say about this track becouse it as in my opinion only sets the high standard of what to expect for the upcoming tracks!
2 - Chaos, This one really is my favourite track - Starts fast builds-up into an amazing track and there is a huge energy level in this track! I love the fast projectional melodys which are bound to take you elsewhere! In the middle of the track you can really hear the great hit potential this track has! Great sounds, great production- this is Astral projection!
3 - Infinity Justice, The album continues with a more mellow start here on the third track. This track is one of the more dreamy ones which is think Astral Projection has always stood for! This track has been stuck in my head since I heard it the first time! A real dreamer and all the cool elements here sets a great party atmosphere wherever you are!
4 - Nexus, After hearing one a little bit slower track and two bombers i had no idea what to expect from the fourth track. I think this track sticks together with Infinity Justice as they build up the same way but they do not use the same sounds and elements at all but the dream factor here i just as high though!
5 - Stick and Stones, When i hear this track start I can really understand why they call this album Amen - It starts with some male vocals which I think (this might sound very stupid) sounds like something from The Lion King movie or something! A really good intro though, this track doesnt have that same potential as the other tracks so far but all tracks can't be kicking to 100%! Conclusion: This track is good, and it works very well as a track you play in the start of a set to set the fourthcoming atmosphere!
6 - Techno Drome, A good track, good sounds and good elements! This one is more to the progressive side as it contains a slow build up! And when i hear it i finally understand why track 5 sounded as it did! i would say this track is perfect coming after Stick And Stones so they have made a really good job putting the tracks together on the album!
7 - 1.000.000 Years from today, After hearing track 5 and 6 i expected a little more 'push' from this track. and that's exactly what I got! This is a real hard time banger! It sounds like nothing I've heard from Astral Production under my entire life time, a real surprise! It contains some really great elements and to be honest but not to sound cheesy it feels like my head sparkles!!
8 - Anything Is Possible, This track reminds me of something in between their old tracks 'Let There Be Light' and 'Dancing Galaxy', it emerges into the same kind of cool atmosphere those tracks has, this track is a great remined of how the Astral sound has evolved over the years! This track contains new elements as well as old, I consider this being the best part of the album but not the best track!
9 - Heavens Gate, I have a few words about this track, Wow, Amazing and truly mental! I dunno what this track would do to you, but it sends me elsewhere! Its a great dream track, I can't find words to describe this one but this is easily said one of the best track on the album, a real heart stopper!
10 - Electric Blue, I never know what to expect form the last track on an album, but to judge from the older Astral projection albums i was expecting an ambient tune or something chilly. but my expectations sucked and this wasnt an ambient tune at all! Its the total opposite, its a good track to follow Heavens Gate and to finish off the album!
Well, the conclusion of all the tracks is that Astral projection has mantained to keep their old sound and merge it together with some new elements! The only bad thing i can find when listening to it is that it sounds like every track contains the same kick sound, I as a producer find that pretty boring, but when you listen to the album its hard to think ot how the kick sounds all the time becouse there are so many other greater and better elements surrounding you when this album is on!
With all of their productions Astral Production has wrote History over their years within the goatrance scene and this album sets the Astral Production standard on a higher level!
If you are into goatrance I really recommend buying this album! It is something you really don't want to miss! Thank you and bye bye!
