LF records are creeping up the ranks with an ever growing fan base and brilliant tunes being produced all the time. This promo is no exception either...
With LF records putting out more chilled trance, this is something everyone will want to get their teeth into for main trance sets or for hard dance warm ups.
A) Lessen The Pain
The a side to this promo is an electronic trance tune. With lovely percussion and stabs of random sounds from the start. The track takes a while to get going with a long build before a break that kicks in with some stabs of electronic strings using a small build up to kick right into the track. There is alot going on in this tune with ambient sounds coming in and out building the track up all the time until the breakdown which is lovely and chilled.
B) Sopot
The b side is a tougher tune with lovely melodic sounds building up to a lovely first breakdown with a deep bass and high pitched stabs which really blend together well. A definate hands in the air moment with this record. Tiny snipits of vocals can be heard while a piano is playing away with a lovely melody before the track really kicks into a higher gear. The best part of this track has to be the way the piano is used. The melody over the underlying bass and percussion is very well put together.
Conclusion:
"Sopot" is going to be a major player this summer after the release with "Lessen the Pain" not far behind it. Once this gets picked up by the big names, I'm sure it will be used all over. I know I shall.
