Known for his fetish for a sexy piece of music, John 00 Fleming has chosen to release yet another one that fits that billing on his label, including adding his own remix of the track onto the b side!

Original Mix

We begin the track in a very percussive manner, adding a kick soon thereafter. We may only be a few seconds in, but the track sounds very good already, and some lovely atmospheric noises only enhance this. The bassline is nice at this point, noticeable but not too overpowering, just helping the track in exactly the correct manner. A Few acid sounds can be heard too, but it’s not over-prominent and this again adds to the layers that can be heard, without being too much for the ears to take. As we lose the drums, we’re ready for the main melodic section and this starts just after the 3 minute mark. All the sophistication you expect from a track that John would both sign to his label & play out is evident here, with the track being uplifting, but not overly done anywhere, just a solid piece of music, which never breaks down into total euphoria. This is a great example of a track that doesn’t need to do this to be a top notch piece of ear candy.

J00F Remix

To follow up the original, John himself has been in the studio to bring the second take on the track. Early elements in the track include a strong kick and more hat-based percussive work than the first version. With this version being over 10 minutes long, you’d think it would be more drawn out than the original, and this is definitely the case, with new elements frequently added. As the kick leaves us, the build up is a mixture of acid stabs and a secondary lead, onto which an almost psychedelic sounding instrument joins us, meandering around and creating an aural orgasm of the ears. This version is definitely a bit different, and if you’re into John’s sets, you will probably have heard it fitting into them in a sublime fashion anyway. Even after 8 minutes, an extra element is added which really helps the track carry on without ever being monotonous. Excellent work.

Conclusion:
Sexy trance is usually hard to come by, but John seems to know all of the places to obtain music that fits into that category, and in turn add his own take onto it. Top stuff again from J00F Recordings!
