Ron van den Beuken is back again on Liquid Recordings with more high powered tech trance and yet again he makes sure he doesn't disappoint. Read on for more...
Having recently released the massive track 'Endless' as a follow up to the also massive 'Timeless' from last year, Ron vd Beuken stays in the same style of production for Overload. Cue some rolling bass and the biggest synths around...
:: R.V.D.B. - Overload :: Liquid Recordings :: LQ047
A: Overload (Original Mix) The Original Mix kicks off instantly into RvdB's distinctive style - brisk percussion over a fairly soft beat, all shepherded by some thick rolling bass and a sprinkle of low synth notes in the background. One short break passes but you're made to wait longer for the niceness held within this track. Things die down to the tone of one dark, low note and then the track promptly explodes with a massive, dominating high synth just stabbing out its massive sound every 2 beats. A huge snare roll prompts the track to get back into full swing and the huuuge synth continues with a few extra notes every now and again to break things up. Its totally non-complicated but executed with style - there will be hands reaching for the heavens whenever this massive track is played.
AA: Overload (Dub Mix) The Dub Mix caters for those who enjoy a more progressive sound, as here it is the main synth which has been removed. The result is a constant flow of rolling bass and some driving synth notes used sparingly. There is a long breakdown early on in this one which kicks back into the strong main section eventually. Theres no other activity here, just a lot of constant, driving force in the RvdB sound. Quite useful really to build up to something, or to keep a mix at a certain level or maybe you just might want to relax from the massive synth.
Conclusion:
More fantastic stuff from Ron van den Beuken! The synth in the Original Mix is out of this world - action packed with peak time power and emotion. Top tune.
