Known for their hard dance and hard house music releases Nukleuz are set to release something all together different featuring a popular brand of household cleaner...
What originally started off as a young man creating a very amusing mash up of Cillit Bang's cleaner product adverts featuring Barry Scott is now being pushed to be this years UK Christmas number One.
The story started with happy hardcore producer Josh McInnes AKA JAKAZiD creating a short music video mash up featuring the video and voices from the Cillit Bang adverts. He also created one using E-Sure's car insurance advert featuring Michael Winner but as yet that one is still just an internet release. They have been floating around on various video sharing sites for some time. You can watch the original creation right here.
Nukleuz which are the home of Hard Dance starts such as BK and Andy Farley must have saw potential in that short amusing little piece of video and have signed it for an official release before Christmas. I did double check it that it was the real label that had signed this track and it was. Either they have struck a deal with Cillit bang to promote their household cleaner or they just wanted to do something a bit out of the ordinary for a change the end result can been viewed on the Cillit Bang site.
The single will be released at the end of November on both CD and 12" and feature a few additional remixes to boot. Is it a potential Christmas number One? It would be funny to see it happen.
