Dance4Life... Sied4Life
In the grand scheme of ‘dance music prestigious', its one that scores pretty highly! At the end of last month Sied was thrilled to be asked to become Dance4Life’s latest musical ambassador. The charity, which was launched in 2003, does outstanding work raising funds to increase awareness of HIV & AIDS around the world & channels its considerable energies through dance. Sied will be commencing his Dance4Life ambassadorship by playing the charity’s benefit fundraiser on November 29th at The Sand in Amsterdam. Tiësto will be headlining the event and with Leon Bolier spinning the closing set, it ain’t gonna be one to miss!

Sied van Riel-eases
October’s been another hectic month down Riel-ease Boulevard, with Sied unleashing another air-burst of big tunes. ‘Closer To You’, his stunning collaboration with US producer R.O.R. has been on the receiving end of an unholy battering from Tiësto, Marco V and Markus Schulz… and that’s just for starters! ‘E=MSied Square’, his inclusion on the new ‘Dance4Life’ album debuts alongside new trackage from Judge Jules, Paul van Dyk & Leon Bolier. It’s available NOW via iTunes, Bol.com & TrackItDown.net. If all that’s not enough there are dark rumours circulating that a debut album may well be underway!

Riel-Mixes
Over on the remix front too, SVR’s been far from sleeping. The Riel Remix Lathe (a precision built instrument producing audio-greatness!) has been shaping-up & sharpening new floor artillery for a number of high profile artists. Sied’s worked up a sound-storm for Blank & Jones’ forthcoming single ‘Where You Belong’ , which is out in November. Armin, PVD, Markus Schulz & Cosmic Gate meanwhile have been hammering Sied’s remix of Offer Nissim’s ‘For Your Love’ out now on Star69.

From The Travel Diaries Of SVR: Gatecrasher15
"Well, there I was, at Amsterdam aiiiiiiiiport about to head off to Scotland for the first of 2 Gatecrasher 15th birthday events that weekend. Just bought me a new pair of headphones as the other ones got stolen in Lebanon and almost missed my flight to Scotland in the process. The first gig was a Room At The Top in Bathgate, which was massive. As i arrived Piet from Rank 1 was playing, I took over, and man-o-man did i have a good time there! Crowd was going nuts and at the hi-point I was joined on stage by Uncle Schossow. Armin took over from me, and i stayed for a hour before leaving to rest up at the hotel. Sheffield tomorrow, the spiritual (and actual) home of Gatecrasher – can’t freekin’ wait! Check out a short video of the night here! Flew south with Armin on one of those nice propeller planes and after a 2 hour drive (gotta love traffic jams) we arrived at our hotel in Sheffield to play Crasher's 15th B-Day at the Sheffield Academy. Met up with my mate Sam who flew in to join us as well as Dave Lee, Ferry, AJ Gibson. After some sleep we went for dinner with all the guys and then arrived at the club at 11.30pm. In a word: packed!

Ferry and Armin were so kind to ‘warm up’ for me (ho-ho!) and i finished up the night. Normally you'd expect the room to thin out after 2 headliners performed, but it stayed packed and again the people where going nutso! And so was i! All the more reasons for me to look forward to Ministry of Sound, where i'll be playing @ The Gallery for the Trance Awards in London in November."
