W&W March Update

© W&W Two heads are better than one as they say and it’s certainly the case with the collective duo of W&W. They have put their production sound to a classic Scott Mac track and gone down the obscenityroute with their collaborative single with Jonas Stenberg...

There are no doubts over the individual talents of Willem & Wardt but it’s under their collective guise of W&W that they have been asking their waves through the trance scene. They make it a three way in the studio for their next single by collaborating with Swedish star Jonas Stenberg with the imaginatively titled 'Alligator Fuckhouse', any expectations of an alligator orgy for a video should be nipped in the bud now! Things are more familiar with the name 'Damager 02' as that’s a classic piece of tech trance and one the chaps could not resist putting their magic to. W&W vs. Jonas Stenberg - Alligator Fuckhouse

For their latest outing, Willem & Wardt have teamed up with similarly fast-rising Swedish star for the collaborative smackdown 'Alligator Fuckhouse'. Summoning numerous images, many of which include alligators, both the Original and Bjorn Akesson remix have been dominating the ASOT playlists over the last few weeks. You can check the pummeling trance of the Original here and the euphoric heights of Akesson’s there.

'Fuckhouse' is out on the 22nd of March through Captivating and if you’re wondering about the title, heh, alligators gotta have somewhere to make 'boom-boom' too! Right? The campaign starts here…

Scott Mac ‘Damager 02’ - W&W Remix

‘Damager02’, Scott Mac’s 2005 birth-of-tech-trance anthem, has come under the remix gaze of Wardt & Willem. Featuring one of the funkiest drum tracks and best tech riffs ever produced, the pair have recast it – to a speaker-combusting end - for 2010. You can check Armin tickling the airwaves with it on ASOT here and the locks finally come of it on the 5th of April thru Magik Muzik.

Gig Flashforward: ASOT450 & Trance Energy 2010

Trance Energy will shake Utrecht (and indeed The Netherlands) down to its deepest foundations as community-trance descends to enjoy one of the biggest nights of the year. W&W will be making their debut there and organizers ID&T did a pre-gig catch-up with our dynamic duo for all their thoughts on what’s to come. Talking of big nights in the year, just a little further down the road, W&W will also be playing the Bratislava leg of the following weekend’s 5 gig strong ASOT450. The Incheba Expo Arena is the place to be for that – if you’re in Slovakia or anywhere within easy reach of it, they’ll see you there. That’s April then; a rubbish month... no more!

Mainstage on AH.FM

Willem & Wardt‘s Mainstage radio show has gone through a new decade revamp! Now coming at your fortnightly on the 2nd & 4th Monday, there’s now twice as much to look forward to every month!). The new format will include some great competitions and also bring you the intriguing Mainstage ID feature, where every month they’ll be playing a track so hot-damn fresh-off-the-desk, it can’t even be named. If you know your trance (and we’ve got no reason to suspect you don’t!) you might even be able to have a stab at guessing who’s behind it!
