It has been a very productive year 2009 for Marcuss and that has rolled on into this one, which seems to fly by quicker by the day. His debut artist album had a nice mix of variety to it and allthough it may have been a little more chilled than you expected, it was a great way to open the album account. he has popped through his early summer update over to i:Vibes towers with a quick roundup of his latest goings on and news of his next new single. Read on for all the juice.

After a winter of with the release of his first album “Outside The Box” the spring has taken of for the multi-talented swedish DJ. Having being hand picked by Eddie Halliwell to tour with him, warming up for Tiesto on request for several events, having Armin Van Buuren hand picking him for the ASOT 450 event and announcing his first ever Ibiza date, its more then sure that you will hear load’s of more from Marcus Schossow this year. Lets get in to it !

The super successful monster anthem “2099” together with Dutchman Leon Bolier has been one of the peak time tune’s for many of the biggest top 10 dj’s the last months, in fact it was so popular that it reached the beatport top 10 after just 1 day in sale... record anyone ?

Not only did the “2099” reach the beatport top 10, but also his much played (can we say over played ?) single “Light” together with Andy Duguid & Emma Hewitt reached the Nr 1. spot on Beatport and was played by Armin Van Buuren in ASOT more then 6 times.

After the success of the last releases it didn't went to long until the remix request starting to coming in piles. After carefully selecting, then the only two remixes for the first of 2010 was made: Tiesto feat Tegan & Sara - Feel it in my bones (Marcus Schossow Remix) and the much hyped BT - The Emergency (Marcus Schossow Remix). Both of them will be seeing a release in the early summer. Oh and, there’s also been made a bootleg remix on Dennis Ferrer’s killer anthem “Hey Hey” which is getting heavy play’s from Mark Knight and Eddie Halliwel! Want a copy? On the Progresia side of things, Marcus haven't been lazy either, having the first release together with the talented slovak Nifra called “Different Way’s”, which reached beatport top 10 within 2 days and then the uber hyped upcoming summer anthem “sommar” (which means summer in swedish) this alias has grown into a full grown artist itself.

There is also two new released in the pipeline for Marcus Schossow himself, the first one is called; Genre This. “The title explain’s it all” says Marcus. “I wanted to create something in between everything, not trance, not techno, not progressive but something which would be impossible to put an genre on. Keep your eye’s open for this one!

The next single after is a full vocal collaboration with none other then one of the best male vocalist in the industry; Christian Burns. Marcus tells; “I made this kinda U2 vs Coldplay melody that all my close producer friends freaked out about. I sent Christian a clip of it since i had him in mind for the vocal and the morning after i had an email saying that he loved it, i was obviously very happy to say the least. I am extremely excited about this release !!”. So are we!
