After selling more than 5 Million records on other record labels Darude has finally got together his very own with Randy Boyer as his co-partner .They will be launching the new label at the end of this month…
The two have been producing, remixing and spinning records in clubs for the past ten years. Darude is a name that should need no introduction as he released one of the biggest dance anthems of the last decade with 'Sandstorm'. We've know about his plans for his own record label with Randy Boyer since we interviewed him back in May and the labels launch is nearly upon us. The philosophy behind the label is a platform for releasing fresh new music from the new breed of emerging electronic talents popping up across the dance music industry. With so much new talent out there Randy and Darude will have an enjoyable task picking new artists for the label. It’s not just for the new as you can expect to find brand new records from Darude and Randy Boyer on the new label too.
The first release on the new label will come from Randy Boyer himself with a powerful melodic trancer featuring the soothing vocals of Cari Golden with a track called 'Fragile'. The single will come with remixes from Jonas Hornblad, Cerf & Mitiska and one of their brand new signings Boyan Angelov, who collaborates with Randy Boyer for a 'Boyan & Boyer' remix. There will be more to follow this in the new year with the pair ready to unleash an armoury of fresh new electronic dance music from talents you may not have heard of yet.
Darude is very excitied about the new albel as he ventures into a new chapter with a freind he's known for quite some time now. "To me, Randy Boyer is the hardest working and the most humble guy in the business and I'm delighted to start this adventure with him. In addition to our own music, we'll both be looking for and giving production support, where needed, to prime artists and tracks to release on our label and play in our sets (which is a requirement for any EMM release, by the way). Both of us being actively touring DJs gives us the opportunity to test play EMM's unreleased material in the real world while staying in touch with the listeners and keeping up with the new sounds and styles out there,"
Darude The respect for Darude is there with Randy Boyer who has been working very hard in getting the label’s launch prepared over the past few months. The opportunity to work with an established artist like Darude on a new label is a very exciting prospect. ""I am really excited about this huge opportunity. Collaborating with such a successful artist like Darude is just amazing. Starting a label was a huge endeavour, and teaming up with a partner will allow both of us time to remain where we feel we belong: in the studio. Darude and I make great partners because we have the same vision: to release top-notch electronic dance music. I believe that by combining our creative forces, our fan bases and business networks we can make a huge impact on the industry,"
Randy Boyer The official date for the labels launch will be New Year’s Eve where Darude will perform at the Last Supper Club in Seattle. What a way to welcome in the New Year with the start of an exciting new music project that goes by the name of EnMass Music. You can hear both Randy and Darude’s views on the new label on the official website where they have put together a promo video explaining the ideas and plans they have for the new label. We should be seeing some tasty new records from EnMass next year.
