© VANDIT Paul van Dyk is back in Berlin with a very special Vandit Night 'Evolution' as he prepares to unleash music from his forthcoming new artist album. He's joined by Marcus Schossow and it’s a night not to be missed for the first preview of Paul's new productions...

Your guess is as good as mine at what the next Paul van Dyk album will sound like. As a true electronic icon and a man who has done so much for the trance scene over the past twenty years you can be sure trance productions will still be part of the infrastructure. Paul’s sound and influences is so much more than just trance these days and that’s why he likes to be known as an Electronic music DJ, which he is and a bloody dam good one at that! It’s been four years since his last artist album ‘In Between’ came out and as an artist who embraces a whole variation of dance styles just what influences over the past four years will Paul put into his new artist LP ‘Evolution’. Audio snippets have been very scarce; maybe he has been slipping a few into his sets of late and if you’re a weekly addict to his VONYC Sessions you might have heard one or two.

It won’t be long before you get to hear more though as at the end of April, just in time for Easter, he will be showcasing his new tracks from the album at a very special VANDIT Night in Berlin. VANDIT Nights are always memorable ones but with Paul’s first artist LP for nearly five years this forthcoming one should be very special indeed. He’s got company behind the decks for the night with Swedish star Marcuss Schossow warming you up ready for Paul to drop some bangers. If its one thing Paul does well, its banging music so I should expect he has a few lined up for his artist collection. The new album is due out in May, I think anyway, no details have been fed out that I’ve seen but as soon as I get a sniff you will be first to know. If your in and around Berlin come the end of this month, get your backside to Paul’s VANDIT Night, it’s going to be a belter!

Between Easter eggs and Mayday, April reveals another highlight: Paul van Dyk strikes the Astra Club in Berlin. The long-awaited next VANDIT Night is on April 29th and is themed "EVOLUTION Is Coming."

PvD fans should be curious since two sneak previews occur on Berlin's VANDIT Night. Brand new tracks from Paul van Dyk's upcoming album "Evolution" will be presented, as well as a glimpse of the Evolution tour, which starts later this year. Evolution will set new standards related to sound, stage design and visuals.

Special guest Marcus Schössow accompanies Paul at the turntables on Berlin's VANDIT Night and brings the best of Swedish progressive house and trance. Schössow is a star in the European electronic music scene and has recently collaborated on one of Paul's new tracks. He's remixed tracks for DJs such as "Sander van Doorn" and "Luetzenkirchen" and was also ranked "Most Popular Nordic DJ" in 2008 and 2009.

Before VANDIT Night begins, selected members of "I'm With the DJ" will have the opportunity for a special album-listening. Paul van Dyk will host a small get-together and present his new tracks, discussing their background, inspirations and origins.

Be certain to arrive at Astra early, as all guests will be offered a listen to the new "Radio NRJ Mastermix" CD before the DJ sets begin. Paul mixed the second CD of this series' latest compilation, available in April. During this time, fans will also have the chance to get their CDs autographed by Paul.
