 On Saturday the 11th of June, the eighth edition of Harmony of Hardcore – The Festival took place at festival area De Roost in the Dutch city of Veghel-Erp...
The event has evolved into one of the biggest pure hardcore events in the Benelux and has managed to build up a huge fan base. More than 10,000 hardcore addicts will gather at this year’s Harmony of Hardcore – The Festival. Now, for the first time, Harmony of Hardcore will have its own compilation, mixed by System:Overload, featuring the biggest hardcore smashes of the moment including of course this year’s official Harmony of Hardcore anthem ‘Darkest Times’.
Harmony of Hardcore – The Festival is a unique event because of its mix of the biggest stars of the hardcore scene and upcoming artists who get the opportunity to present their talents at a big festival. This vision was also used as the inspiration for the compilation: big smashes by leading artists such as Angerfist, Outblast, Nosferatu and Tha Playah, and tracks by talented artists on the verge of breaking through. Included are exclusive tracks “God’s Fury” by Art of Fighters and the official Harmony of Hardcore anthem “Darkest Times” by System:Overload.
System:Overload had two big hits in 2010:“Wreckless Damage” featuring MC Tha Watcher and of course their remix of Recype’s “Or What”, which topped the Hardtunes Top 10 chart for a whole week. Their big break comes with their anthem for Harmony of Hardcore “Darkest Times”, released on the Derailed Traxx Black label and all signs are that it will be a big summer-smash.
