The very latest on Sean Tyas featuring news on the third release on his own label Tytanium and a last chance to enter his 'Lift' remix competition...
Sean Tyas has a few words for all his fans this month as the voting for the DJ Mag Top 100 draws to a close in seven days time. He's has a very special year by all accounts and with a new label, the continuing success of his radio show and a packed tour schedule he will continue that into next year. There is plenty of music to come before then included a few more Tyas singles with the first already out. It's a collaboration he's done with Bjorn Akesson called 'Zahi' that has turned out rather well fusing the pairs both uplifting styles into one melodic monster. Check out that below including a final chance to get your remix in for his track ‘Lift’ and win yourself some goodies.
Tytanium's 3rd release, Tyas & Akesson's "Zahi"
For the 3rd release of Tytanium Recordings, Sean Tyas has teamed up with Swedish trance maestro Bjorn Akesson to bring you what they have named "Zahi". Encompassing the pure power both of them are so well known for, but making certain the whole production was brimming over with a melody & feeling that makes trance music what it is.
Already a huge favorite for Armin van Buuren, Zahi's 2 week in a row play on ASOT has landed Zahi its spot as one of the biggest summer/fall anthems this year

DJ Mag's Top100 Poll closes 23rd of September
"The last 12 months have been full-on, with a huge focus on North America, playing heavily in places like Toronto, San Francisco, New York, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, Montreal, Chicago, Edmonton, Calgary, and Seattle. In addition to the rest of the globe, and having been invited to play at ASOT500 in Den Bosch, Electric Daisy Carnival, and the upcoming Electric Zoo in New York – I can only look back at the past years gigs and feel very privileged at this accomplishment. I also feel a bit spoiled to have been to Argentina 3 times in the last 12 months to play in a country that I’ve really fallen in love with over these last few years.
Tytanium Sessions has grown and evolved even more since last year, now encompassing Podcast & Soundcloud versions each & every week, featuring the best new dance tracks from up & comers and established maestros alike. You have all grown with me & this show, many of you from the very first episode! I want to thank you for the support as well as bringing in new listeners to the show by spreading the word about Tytanium Sessions!
In the studio, even with the birth of my 2nd daughter Kyla and all the responsibilities that come with that at home, somehow the last 6 months have been my most productive ever. I’ve released a number of original releases in ‘Banshee’, ‘Solo’ and most recently ‘By The Way’, which have all done incredibly well in the charts. Alongside this I’ve completed seven tracks from my upcoming album project ‘Clarity’, it feels like the production side of my career has never been better. And I have you guys, the listeners and clubbers, to thank for that for pushing me to improve and expand myself both as a producer and DJ.
With the DJ Mag Top 100 Poll upon us once more, I’d just like to take the opportunity to ask those of you who have been with me over what has been one of the most life changing years of my DJ life to please take the time to head over to the DJ Mag site and cast a vote for me to show your support. I have so much planned for the months ahead; I'm really looking forward to sharing it with you all.
Once again, thank you."

Last few days to get in on the "Lift" Remix Contest
Last few days to get in on the "Lift" Remix Contest... ...With prizes from KRK and a chance to collaborate on a track with Sean
5 years ago, Sean Tyas came onto the trance scene in a flurry due to one main single that occupied every trance DJ's record and CD cases, "Lift". In the same year, Sean placed 1st out of over 250 entries in the Sander van Doorn - Punk'd. These two events were the main turning point of Sean's career, and now both of these ideas are combined to give you your own turning point.
It's time "Lift" gets a "facelift" and it's up to YOU to step up to operate! Dig right in! Calling out to all you producers out there, now is your chance to spin this track into your vision with how it should sound today!
Any style is accepted and considered! Be creative! If you think you can do a mean-moody dubstep remix of it, then go right ahead and do so!
At this point, over 1,400 remix packs have been downloaded from Trackitdown, so Sean is really looking forward to some real diversity in the entries.
