© Monster Tunes It's been another very successful year for independent UK Trance label Monster Tunes and its commander in chief Mark Eteson. Need a few reminders why? Check out his Monster Tunes year mix out next week...

We may still have a month left to burn off in 2011 but as December draws closer and grown up men start wearing red pyjamas, it’s a good time to have a reflective look back at the year that was. Monster Tunes are still very much an independent label in their own right and show no signs of doing anything but growing bigger through 2012. Their monthly radio show has been gathering pace through the year and it is through that show this mix has been born from.

Mark Eteson has been responsible for putting together the show since its birth and it is to him that Monster Tunes put in charge of the mix to end the year. His solo accomplishments include releases on Anjunabeats, Garuda, Aramda and he has been all over Europe as part of Godskitchen’s ‘Worldwide Resident’ project. I think he’ll be jetting off to more places next year to. He’s put together a superb mix for Monster’s 2011 reflective look back at 2011 with tunes from Orjan Nilsen, Cramp, Solid Globe, Simon Patterson, Inca and records from himself.
