M.I.K.E. is back again, with the Solar Factor guise, bringing deep beats, not the cloudy sounds, but more progressive sounding.
Push/Plastic Boy/M.I.K.E./Moon Project/Liquid Overdose/… the list goes on. All different guises of one of Belgium’s finest producers. Each guise represents a certain style for instance, Push equals ‘anthemy’ trance, Plastic Boy equals trance, and this guise, Solar Factor, leans to the progressive trance.
A: Deep Sonar B: No Return
Deep Sonar starts off immediately with a hard beat and some background noises, but the actual melody in it, is good. Deep, hard beats, not too much melody, a real dancefloor destroyer. Breakdown in this is quite good. This song is a must have for all M.I.K.E. fans, and he doesn’t fail to deliver quality again.
No Return starts of in the same style, a hard beat and a little bit of melody in it. It is actually boring at the start, but it changes rapidly, when added a few layers, breakdown is good too, with a special reoccurring sound in it.
Conclusion: M.I.K.E. has done it once again, no ‘Push-trance’ but something totally different.
