Biography:
Hailing from Rotterdam in the Netherlands, Ferry Corsten is one of the most influential and respected members of the Uplifting Trance scene today. A Man who from a very early age was very talented, Ferry soon got into playing around with a single record deck and making his own tunes, all the money he earnt from this helped him buy a mixer and 2nd deck and eventually a synthesizer. From then until now he has gone on to produce masses of tunes under many guises and in many combinations, with people like Robert Smit, Tijs Verwest for Gouryella, Vincent De Moor in The excellent Veracocha and Armin Van Buuren . Ferry is also a competent mixer and one of the most sought after talents around to wow crowds with his crisp mixing and track selections, playing at events such as Trance Energy, Dance Valley, Hyperstate and many other clubs all over the globe, as well as releasing albums under his System F guise and mixing albums for Ministry of Sound and others. At Just 27 years of age, who knows what else is to come from Ferry, If it's anything like we've already seen then we are in for a treat. Since the previous 3 Gouryella tunes, sadly Ferry & Tijs have parted company on that project, but he is continuing it as a solo project in the style of before, and a new single called Ligaya will be out later this year. As for the past of trance, Ferry has helped shape the dutch sound into what it is today, and will continue to do so for the forseeable future
