Biography:
Anjunabeats was established in the summer of 1999 by Jono Grant and Paavo Siljamäki. They met at university having already begun to make a name for themselves independently as record producers. Two heads seemed better than one, so they decided to team up and establish a label for releasing their uplifting and progressive trance music.

Their Anjunabeats Volume 1 LP was a huge success with DJs such as Paul Oakenfold and Paul van Dyk and from then on, they teamed up with producer Tony McGuiness to form Above & Beyond.

The first remix from Above & Beyond was of Chakra's "Home" released on WEA in 2000 and instantly defined them as one of the leading producers and remixers to come.

2001 saw their success under the Free State guise, with remixes of 4 Strings "Daytime" which pushed the limits to vocal trance, and then their Above & Beyond remix of Madonna's "What it Feels Like For a Girl" was equally massive.

2003 sees many more tracks to come, including their new Oceanlab production and many remixes. Meanwhile, Above & Beyond have been playing their DJ sets at Japan's Velfarre, UK's Ministry of Sound and Holland's IDT Radio to name a few and Jono and Pavo have done previous DJ sets under their Dirt Devils guise in the UK, Ireland and Japan, with more dates to come near you in the future!

Recent release of Albinoni, under the Rollerball guise has caused a huge reception being a remake of Albinoni's "Adagio in G" and many compare it to Barber's Adagio for Strings, look out for it in 2003!
