Nu Nrg (Andrea Ribeca & Giuseppe Ottaviani)

Biography:
Back in the year 1990, Andrea had his first contact with turntables and slowly
he worked to become a scratch DJ. As time passes by, his passion of techno as slowly developed around 1992 when he did a bit of production revolving around that.
After that he was working as a Resident DJ at various techno/trance clubs around Italy till 1999,when he met Giuseppe and that marked the begining of the project "Nu Nrg".

Throughout the past 7 years, Guiseppe has been spinning with a huge passion for music. While he was DJing he tried to learn stuff about playing on the piano and in 1995, when he finally developed his sensible style of music, he found out exactly what kind of music he would like to spin in the future and found this to be his real passion. That has brought him to play at techno parties throughout the year until 1999 when he met Andrea...

First productions made by NU NRG (like for example Energizer and Aloa-P) were released on a Romanian label. Soon after their release, they made alot of success and have since been licensed to German labels. The most important production "DREAMLAND" was licensed in 2001 to Vandit records, owned by German trance techno guru Paul van Dyk. Since then, Paul has included song into his compilation The Politics of Dancing and have helped NU NRG to get the good promotion and to leave a huge impression that they deserve. NU NRG have kept on going forward since then, up until their recent releases on the label Extrawild.
