This was my first trip to Ibiza and it was amazing. It defaintly made me want to go back every year..


31/07/05

We fly out from coventry airport which is a tiny little place with only one terminal, at 8pm. Its only a 2 and a half hour flight to the white isle so we didn't really have much time to do anything before we landed at 2am (ibiza time). The queue for a taxi is long so we don't get to our hotel untill 4am but its worth it. Its so nice and hot here i don't want to sleep i want to explore but i have to go to sleep to make the best of it tomorrow.

01/08/05

We wake up and relax by the pool for a while before we head off to explore for most of the day. We find a nice little italian restaurant where you can see the sun setting over cafe mambo and we have just finished when Lee (my boyf) gets up, walks over to me and gets on one knee...

Its all a bit of a blur but of course i said yes. It was amazingly romantic and we got a few pictures of us just afterwards. The worst part was having to ring my parents and let them know without crying haha didn't work but they we over the moon.

I head to the orange corner to play from 3pm till 6pm outside. Its a nice little open plan venue and i mix up some funky and prog house also dropping one of the tracks i have made to see how it goes down. We met a few of lee's mates there and had a laugh with them for the rest of the evening meeting a flyer boy who heard me earlier and enjoyed my set, which is lovely to hear.

As we are sitting having a drink down by the beach MTV come and do a little interview with me about music and the island for some of their advert clips.

I play play2 tonight with Vicky devine, bunny and laura love. We play very commercial stuff as that is all that works there and do loads of different b2bs - the night is stonking 6 hours of pure fun including some very nice classic hard dance :D

I play the orange corner again today just before the azuli dj which is nice i get to tech it up a touch for housewives choice. I then head over to the star club to play there and again its very commercial in here the wrong song will empty the room because its a free club.
