Post subject: Recording from Line-in |

I want to record samples from tapes onto my computer, but the sound recorder windows has isn't working, I've changed cables and still no luck, are there any other easy-to-use proggys that I could try for doing this task ?

Total Recorder is good... i use version 3.2 all the time for recording tapes and my decks etc etc !!

total recorder is good, im sure cool edit and soundforge and similar programs should be able to record from line in as well
ps make sure you aint muted or got the line in volume all the way down!

that they can !!! and with CEP u can save the file as MP3 without the use of a seperate mp3 encoder

Well.... I've got a Maxi Studio ISIS soundcard for my computer........ it works GREAT!!! And I also use Wavelab (from Steinberg) version 4.0..... the best wave editor on planet earth THAT'S easy!!!

sound forge 5 is what i use. the best recording softwave i've come across. i think there's even a version 6 now.

Hi.
I got my own 64 track homestudio and i record lot of old records and tapes, the best way to do this is to use Cool Edit Pro v.2
