Best of System F & Gouryella

tbh I can't think who would buy this really.

The majority of Corsten fans will have the tracks they want on the format(s) they want and will have the versions they want already. I might be interested if it was a lot more comprehensive (9 tracks is FA!) and it looked as though the tracklist has been thought out - to me it's looking very random.

What do you guys reckon?

The fans won't be surprised with it i agree but it's great for the new fans of Ferry who don't have the tracks and also for the CD DJs as all tracks on the album are full length remastered versions. I might even get it to get better quality versions for my old' a bit muddy sounding versions of some tracks on 12" and cd.

9 tracks isn't much and this is lacking alot of goodies but i saw the album cover somewhere earlier today and it says part one so i assume part two will follow and that will have the tracks which got excluded from part one.

There was also a similarly titled compilation which came out only in Japan last year and has only 1 disc with 14 tracks so edits have crowded that release.

Allthough most Corsten fans will have most of the tunes I for one will probably buy it. Volume leaves the way for volume 2. Not many tracks for a £10 compilation but at least you have some of Ferrys finest works.

Well I have "The Very Best of Ferry Corsten" which was an earlier Japanese release and so probably will not buy this, although it's tempting because they are the original versions.

I know that but isn't quite the same thing because it has his other aliases and remix works too, not just System F & Gouryella. And it's even worse because it has 15 tracks instead of 9.
