Elton John - Are You Ready For Love? It came out originally in 1979 tho.. in 2003 it got loads of remixes by such names as Ashley Beedle (aka X-Press 2), Freeform Five, Mylo, Linus Loves,... of which all have more or less a housey vibe.
Then there is another more housey feeling track called Ultra High - Are You Ready For Love from 1996, work of Ricky Simmonds & Stephen Jones aka The Space Brothers/Lustral/Ascension/Chakra/... and it's with male vocals as well.
Then again i don't know what kind of song you are after.. trance, house, euro cheddar... or are the vocals sung by male or female? Would help.

Hi Caroline, how you like the site?
I've had a look, since I love a mystery...hehe
The song was an Elton John song. There was also songs containing that by Patsy Gallant, Spinners and JoyFleming but they are real oldies... (1978/9...A bit out of your time frame if I go by your name!! )
I think the one you are after though is Ultra High - Are You Ready for Love. It was on MCA Records in 1996. Give a whirl me thinks!! You never know.
