This is drawing to a close!
Who did you vote for?
And who do you think will be the top 3 this year?

I don't vote in it anymore; it's too much of a Popularity poll for me to care anymore. I listen to who I enjoy and support them by buying their music. If they really want me to vote for them, they can come visit me and kiss my babies, or shake my hand, or something.

I'm one who did not vote in the poll.
My take on it is unless you have seen the DJ spin live throughout the year its not really a fair jugdement to make any votes for anyone. The poll for me is just popularity and does not represent who is the best DJ in the world.
I'm having a guess Paul van Dyk may well be number one this year though.

I believe I voted a few weeks ago - not sure if I submitted my votes though.
On my list I had Phynn, Jon O'bir, John 00 Fleming and Paul van Dyk. Not sure about the last one...
I believe Tiesto, PvD and AvB will make out the top 3 when the final results are presented.

| Btw, it will be interesting to see how DJ Mag's list will differ from the one over at tranceaddict...even though almost everyone in the forums dislikes the results of dj mag's yearly voting I do think the final results will be similar.

I voted for Richie Hawtin as number one! He is the man, and I guess I'm playing a very similar style thesedays... I had already voted for him but I have seen him again since at the Cocoon closing party in Ibiza. He rocked!!
It has become abit of a popularity contest but isnt that just the same as being the best DJ? I mean, I know I'm better than alot of people in the top100 but not many people have heard of me so why should I be in there!? Tiesto pulls crowds of thousands easily so he deserves it more than I do...

That's a fair point, I bet at least half of the people who vote have never seen all their DJs live. They are either going off productions, recorded sets, albums, or compilations.

Personally I think Armin van Buuren or Paul van Dyk will take the top prize.
