I'm becoming more and more interested in this genre. It offers a definite change from trance. Any fans of it here? And if so, drop some names for me to try, either producers or DJs. Just wondering if anybody likes this type of EDM.

Im still much more into trance even as it occasionally feels worn out. Much of my attention is there so i dont dive to deep into it, bout the only thing i listen to with that is tech-trance

| Depends what you mean by Techno. If you mean the really dirty, beat and percussion based stuff - like stuff by Ant or Alex Calver on labels like Blipped Out, Hydraulix, Glitch etc. then... Yes! I love it!

Dimitri Andreas is like commercial techno - well, trance djs wanting to be cool play Dimitri Andreas and hes so not cool... lol, his stuff is shockingly boring and generic and not interesting. Although his remix of DJ Montana's "Holla" was brilliant a few years ago.
Richie Hawtin, Ricardo Villalobos, Loco Dice are cracking DJs -- I've been into Richie for ages, and I definately play a style similar to these guys...

Adam Beyer, Ken Ishii, Marco Bailey, Jeff Mills, Sven Vath, and Derek May really know how to throw down a wicked set.

| I like the old stuff, Some of the old sets that John Acquaviva spun...but I grew up listening to him play at a local club in London Ont so I'm sure that had something to do with it.
