[Tempest]

One World recording artist Amanaska aka Simon Lewis will headline a show at Bar Open, Sunday 13/5. Amanaska has recently supported world music icon Talvin Singh and his album 'Circles' has received widespread critical praise for its consummate melding of world and electronic influences.

The lineup will be rounded out by Sunsaria, Red Eye Express, Rip Van Hippy and Stickleback.
Sunsaria (formerly Psyburbia) has just signed an international deal with US label Invisible, the imprint founded by Martin Atkins (Nine Inch Nails, Killing Joke, Public Image, Ministry etc.). A new album is due mid year.
Red Eye Express are becoming known for their groovy crossover style with a debut expected on Tempest recordings. Rip Van Hippy has been a respected innovator on the trance scene for many years, whilst Stickleback is a new Tempest recordings artist, also due to deliver an album this year.

The night kicks off at 7:30PM and the best news is its completely free.
