Does anyone even come here anymore?

I mean really it seem these days that only a small handful of ppl visit this site and its like the one of largest trance music themed site on the net! It really kind of sucks that hardly anyone listens to trance anymore, it seems to just be all black hip hop/rap ghetto shit, at least thats all it is here in the smelly USA. Sad

Is trance still really popular in Europe or is it begining to decline there now?

I remember back when I was in high school like 97 - 00 and that seemed like the only era in time when trance was even close to being popular in the 3rd world USA. Thats when there was raves (or at least more of them).

DJS NEED TO START RELEASING BETTER TRACKS!!!!!! What happened to the beautiful melodic trance that once existed?

So I can feel the same enthusiasm for music this guy feels = Cool

Actually we have new visitor records every month now - but forum activity is really slow.

Guess everyone takes their discussions over at tranceaddict...

It's not just here. Lots of forums are 'dead' compared to how they were a few years back.

TranceAddict is ok (think I'm still a member, only posted once or twice though), but personally I prefer this place Smile

Everything has its peaks and its up and downs. Forum activity is a little slow at the moment.

I think TA has the market share when it comes to a busy forum.

I dont think Trance espeically is as popular now as it was, there is far too much rubbish released into the comercial side putting people off.

As for RnB and Rap and the like, I dont know why people like it but it will continue to be like that I feel.

If this site is only about Trance, I'm turning in my helper status. I like this site because it is dedicated to all types of Electronic Dance Music, and covers a variety of genres that TA and T.nu could never hope to keep up with.

umm it's big in europe.. i think it will always be.. so is house and the rest of electronica.. I dont think people come here to forums too much because forums here are too slow.. it takes freaking a week for one replay to a thread... it is a bummer

I dont post as much as i used to because its full of new users just asking to name a track they dont know so they can then go and search for a download source... and then when you cant help or you have an opinion a big trance vs. cheese war starts and its the same kind of conversation we have all the time.

Biz is still here...I found the whole dance scene was slow over the summer...at least in Canada...but lots of new tunes released in the last month or so should make a better fall, but way to many re-makes...but I'll start another thread on that one!

TA is actually too busy for me, so I come here instead typically. It's a good way to find new tracks, but there's way too much arguing going on over there.
