Post subject: Millimetric & Yannick Baudino - Kabricot OUT NOW!!! |

|
"Toyfriend Music" is a digital record label based in Odessa, Ukraine.
Our aim is to bring hi quality electro & techno crossover stuff from worldwide producers varying from groovy tech-house, groovy and funky techno to electro-techno.
The label catalogue is divided in two parts: regular releases from worldwide techno producers ("Toyfriend") and set of special releases ("Toyfriend Special").
First regular release on Toyfriend Music comes from French electro & techno artists Millimetric & Yannick Baudino (Human Body). This very strong duo appears on Toyfriend with something special called "Kabricot".
You can buy it on the BEATPORT.
Rave activist since the beginning, Yannick Baudino started his artistic carrier in 1997. He sat up a live act with Gino's with the name Human Body, a mix of techno, house and electro. They produced a large amount of EPs, made a European tour and received a warm welcome each time they played.
After several releases on labels like Goodlife, Properproud or Notorious Elektro, and a record this year with The Hacker on UMF, Yannick is now working on a solo project with contributions of artist like Millimetric or Eric Borgo.
And on the other side stands electro-techno master Millimetric (François-Xavier Michel).
Influenced by acts such as Front 242 / D.A.F / Liaisons dangereuses / Severed Heads (and old minimal electronic stuff ) , Millimetric has started experimenting with friends machines and computers. In his projects «Digital Blood» and «Binärcode», he has worked for structures and sounds, samples and technology, live performance...
But first of all we know him by significant releases on Goodlife and Properproud!
These two real masters bring us something really special. The track "Kabricot" combines the cold and futuristic electro energy with soft and uplifting beats and bass. It makes the original mix big for dancefloors of all kinds - from techno to tech-house and electro.
The release also comes with a remix from Jonathann Cast, French electro-techno guy known by his great works on Al Ferox's label Dancefloor Killers. He gives a track a real EBM touch with excellent bass and voice manipulating skills.
The second remix comes from Ukrainian techno producer Alexey Gordiyenko aka Codename Guard known by his works with Andrey Smoroda in Odessa Soundfreaks (TechHead, 88 recs). Alexey remixes the track to more loopy modern dancefloor-oriented techno/tech-house track with great FX ideas and big psy bassdrum.
