Having a chat with trisco about our most horrible clubbing experiances and found the general commedy value of them. So post them here. Very Happy

My Global Gathering Hell

Well we had to stand in this queue coming down like a mofo for ages like an hour or more. We *finally* get on the first coach to the train station now all these people at the back of the queue fill the other coaches, now the idiot coach driver lets the other two coaches fill up and lets them go first, okay of they go yippee. Now, it begins, the traffic was getting quite bad so our nice coach driver lets more traffic thru causing a flow and we end up sitting there now trying to push our way out for like another 30 minutes, We get to the train station. Why didn't I join the back of the queue!?

We missed the first train

So we wait and get on the next train and get into this carriage, and someone is stinking, I mean stinking, really badly, we cant move cause the train was packed I cannot honestly explain to you what it was like, it would keep drifting to us. urgghh

anyway

These proper insane coked up Londoners in our carriage start beating the sh*t out of the train, punching things shouting, MC'ing. My god!

So we're moving along and the train stops at Leamington Spa and doesn't go again we sit in this stinking carriage, the heat blazing (it was like a green house) sweating coming down for literally hours, turns out the Londoners had broken something on the train. These f*ck#ng b&st^rd Londoners are really p*s#ing us off by now along with that god damn smell!!!!!. (excuse the language but this is something that I get quite emotional about still).

A good while later it starts to go again, we hear an announcement, "We should be able to get you as far as Oxford". Thank Christ for that, that's my stop.

So we put up with the hell for a little longer, but no, the train dies in Banbury, one stop from Oxford and that's where it died!

They say that another train will turn up, but its small, it does and everyone goes rare to get on it, we fail. The next train was in an hour or something, I'm going thru mega paranoia as well which really didn't help (I was so scared it was me producing that smell lol).

We ended up having to spend like £40 on a taxi to get back to Oxford

I think overall we set of from global, (1 1/2hr journey from oxford) at 6am and arrived oxford 1 - 2pm.

I am never getting a train back to an event ever again in my entire life. I don't need that hassle.

Was anyone here on that train from hell?

god i could fill this section..lol..ok:

Gatecrasher: mid winter!
right..about 5 T time my mates had let me down to go to GC-as u can imagine i was annoyed!.. so my sis asks if i wanted to go.ideal... so we work out how to get bthere an how to get back.. pretty simple.. worked out how much money we needed.. scraped the cash together and away we went. We went in normal clothes with clubbing gear in our bags.. got there and got changed in the train station.train journey was a doddle. We were on the paying guest list-usually have to queue for about 10 mins...but..this time we had to queue for an hour.. freezing my chonnocks off.. got in and dumped our bags in the cloak room thinkin-"better make this a good one, cos of the harsh journey etc" ... so we continued to find fuel for the night. not a bad night tall paul banging out a cool set ..with tiesto playing the hard stuff also (back in the day when i liked trance). All is well..but 4am comes...we are deflated, tired ect..and jules in on Crying or Very sad

.. so we decide whats best to do... we got changed in the toilets ready for the close and the nice journey home-stay in GC till 6am. this is where the hell starts.. we have to walk to the train station..and there is nowt worse than goin in the cold after coming out of a club!.. got to the station nice and warm there.. sit on these benches falling asleep (looking like homeless ppl)thinking everyone is staring as u do.. cafe opens ..go and have a brew.."announcement- train termination sheffield to stafford" grrrr.. thats ours.. so we ask what we have to do.. we have an extended wait till 10am till the train we have to catch.. a train to derby..then national xpress to hanley.. so we get on this train-try to blag a free fare..but get caught next to last stop..money decreasing ... in derby.. having never been-have to walk through the city centre. to this crummy outdoor bus station... we sat on the pavement for an hour and a half.. again freezing.no midday sun ...grr.. tiring all the time... xpress arrives.. guy says he cant do any tickets on the spot.not allowed.. Surprised

i plead that this is what we were told and this is our only way of getting home... he eventually lets us on (if ur reading-i hate u Laughing

) .. we sit there for 30 mins while he fannys about.. some guy had nicked his money.. so he arranges a policeman to meet him at stoke.. i sat next to this granny.. couldnt fall asleep for fear of missing the hanley stop.. we get t hanley.feeling ill as always... had to jump on a bus home.. to get home to our mother pestering as they do... collapse in bed and think... im through with this malarchy! only to go the following week! what can u say about homelands 2000... 3 hr drive down... sun..luvly... get there.. 5hr queue in the car... down this crappy duel carriage way... get there to park on this grass field.. about 1 mile away! walked through all these fields... not a big queue to get in.. but it is in this bowl (hence the location-matterley bowl)... the gorund is ok... but gradually as the rain purs.it gets muddy...the arenas are already packed as digweed bangs away in the main arena.. so we decided to head up to miss lashes.. brilliant set... after that.deterioration... van dyk is doing 4 hrs at 2-6.. we get at the back for what is set to be a masterpiece... (was on radio 1)..first two hrs was great... we were all cold.. wet throught to the bone.. so we decide best to go cos of the field we were parked in and the long drive ahead... got back to the car about 30 mins later after trying to find it! ..stand out in the elements lacking the efforts to get changed... finally..dump all muddy clothes in the boot.. and sit in.but my mate is takin an eternity.letting all the buggering cold in... he jumps in..we start up... OMG wheel spins trying to drive through the mud..we make it out onto the concrete... and head up..we view the other fields....ppl cant get out HAHAHAHA if it was u Laughing

....nice 3 hr journey home... greeeeeat Mad
