French artist My Own Fear, a.k.a. progressive house artist James Woods, is a new addition to the Silk Sofa artist roster. This EP, "Light & Shadow", features several brand new chillout and downtempo works under the new "My Own Fear" moniker.

"Light" starts off with a subtle arpeggio line, accompanied by a soft breakbeat. Later, a blissful flute-inspired sound emerges, which is beautifully surrounded by soothing pad layers and lush arpeggio riffs in the background. The B-side, "Shadow", introduces many smoothly crafted bell-inspired melodies, which are later accompanied by a breath-taking breakbeat, as well as unique pad layers on top. A gorgeous piano line beautifully cuts through the soundscape, enhanced by the varying pad layers and smooth background melodies.
