Hi Eric,
Mate, you've got some corking ideas there!! The sound is lovely towards the break.
But it's not quite right on the build up. Some of the key changes sound a little forced, the hit hats are a little to pronounced and the leading in sequence to thin!!
With that said, you'll probably sort them in the polishing and mastering. But for sound and effort, that's a thumbs up. Plus it can only get better matey!! Well done!!! It's better than me!! hehe

I agree with Alan. I like the first half of the track, the built up is nice and fairly professional. But once the actual melody breaks in, it wasn't too exciting because there wasn't anything new that hadn't basically already been heard before the break. So I think you need a new sound, a new synth, or a slightly different melody to keep interest throughout.
As well, the hi-hats aren't very good. Very artificial and "cheap" sounding I think, particularly about half-way through towards the break where they are used more extensively when the melody drops. Maybe some harder percussion is needed here.
