So Where Does Everyone Get There Music From ??

I personally have a hard finding some of the mixes that people put up, so i'm just curious as to where everyone gets there music from, a pay site, freeware, doesn't really matter to me.

There's a lot of radio stations around, playing electronic music.

They play a lot of newer stuff, so I can hear the latest stuff. As well, there are a lot of free mixes available from DJs on their websites (both amateur and well-known).

Amazon (Uk Mainley sometimes germany or USA). Juno, HTFR (very good for bootlegs and mash ups), buy that record, 101cd.

The local Hudsons in town sometimes had the odd gem in, have to take a look in there. There's a shop in sheffield thats good for trance stuff so I have been told but not had a look in yet.

Even amazon.ca has a decent selection of trance and electronic music, I buy quite a bit of stuff from there.

online cdshops like www.dancegrooves.com and www.bol.com, secondhand through a dutch site called www.marktplaats.nl and through www.ebay.com. Sometimes I download mixes from www.hybridized.org and I download a lot of mixes from unknown dj's. Some are pure crap but some are very good, it depends. And I illegaly obtain some stuff.

I get most of my music from the free netlabel scene. There's a lot of good stuff out there, but it's a bit hard to sort out the good stuff from the shit. That's one reason I run Knobtweakers -- I feature my favorite tracks periodically.
