Post subject: Needed : very new SECTION! |
|
|
I just looked into the trance & techno section, omg its "over-posted"
everyone requests tracks, ask questions, there are just too many people who post in the wrong section etc.....
So I suggest a new section "tracks" or something like that where people can post their thoughts on tracks.
So the trance & techno sections cleans up a bit.
dunno just a suggestion

I disagree.
What we need is a section called "Requests / Song IDing". So basically if you're looking for a song, or need a song identified, go there.

I think a song ID forum would be quite good and useful...
other than that.. you'd have to talk admin =)

What if you needed a certain amount of posts to access the track request area?

I have to admit that the thing tranceaddict offers to store small samples for the purpose of ID-ing tracks is useful for me, it gets me more than logging into lunarpages for a sample then them taking down the account when ppl start to download the sample. Artists shouldn't complain about their songs being on, cause if u want an ID for a song, if u get it, u can go out and buy the track. The Idea of needing a certain number of posts does have its disadvantages in ppl spamming to get the number of posts needed. Limiting everyone to 2 samples a week or something might do a better job but im not sure, its hard to think at 4.45 in the morning Damn Englands cricketers playing on skysports
The only problems in new sections is that once you take everything out of it, there might not be much left in the section for trance other than polls and lists

Hello,
Yes this was already discused the admins but no final conclusion was made just a few pointers about it. However I will now bring this up with Stream and we will talk about it and what way we will approach this little problem.
Hopefully if we can, we will allow samples to be uploaded, otherwise, at least, we can create a new section to take the load of the Trance/Techno section.
Thanks for the awareness...

This idea just came to me:
When you review a song, on the review page you could have a streaming sample of it. So listeners can also draw their own conclusions as well.

no you have to let people vote on the track and the best track comes above.
