On the this years' Nature One event, i-Motion beats last years visitor record again and pushes the bar even highter. Not only in increasing visitor numbers but in increasing light, sound and ambience making the Rocket Base Pydna a paradise for over 61.000 Ravers. No wonder why Nature One has been voted "Best Event" for the 8th time in a row by the readers of the german scene magazine Raveline...
On sunday morning, with the set of DJ Dag on the open Air Floor, the 15th Nature One ended, but not without raising a smile on everybodys face - Just like the motto "Smile is the answer" promised.
Four days and three nights 61.000 Visitors were partying on the Rocketbase Pydna and the campingsite. 300 DJs and Live Acts were performing on four head-arenas and 19 club floors. Highlights after Highlights for numerous Hours: Daniel Kandi, Trance Dj and Producer from Kopenhagen, who was directly reaching the hearts of the Visitors in his Opening Set, Armin van Buuren, worlds Number One DJ, who fascinated the crowd totally with his assortment of sets, Judge Jules pushed trance to another level, Ferry Corsten, who found the way back to his old trancy style.
The heroes of the Classic floor were definately Charly Lownoise & Mehtal Theo, who brought back the spirit of Happy Hardcore and their unforgettable own Tracks. Dag, who was playing the last sets before his retirement as a DJ on Nature One, made believe you were on a time travel back to the early days of Trance & Techno. Not to forget Masters like Steve Mason, Oliver Bondzio and of course Alien Factory, who had their first live set since the mid 90's.
The House of House was giving all needs to the House-Enthusiasts, all style-wishes, from minimal, over techy to classic Warehouse were fulfilled. On the other hand, the Century Circus was rocking this year as if a rocket would still be alive under the former rocketbase... Techno grand master Carl Cox understood like no other to reach everybodys groove by playing straight Techno. He was highly acclaimed by the crowd for his grandious set. DJ murphy, the man with the probably best mixing skills, was showing his vinyl tricks making the crowd go crazy. That sympatic Brazilian knows how to completely take control.
Not to forget to mention that nearly all styles were covered, sub-cultural genres and older styles like Gabba, Hardcore, Acid and as well newer ones like Hardstyle, Jumpstyle were performed by numerous so talented Djs - "Oldies" or Newcomers. Nature One knows how to combine big names in electronic music, todays styles as well as upcoming DJs.
