Biography:
Alex D'Elia and Andrea Doria are the producers behind the critically acclaimed IDJ release 'Isn't Life Wonderful' which was released in July 2000. Born in Rimini, home-town of Italian nightlife, Alex started DJing at 13 and took part in DMC scratching competitions. In the late 1990’s he met Andrea who started out at the age of 12 composing music for video games.

Andrea Doria is a 28-year-old hailing from Ravenna, Italy. After receiving his first analog synth from his father at eight years of age he fell in love with the sound. He soon realised where his future would lie. At sixteen years of age Andrea began to develop a passion for computers and soon became a programmer. At the arrival of the first 8/16bit computers he starts earning a living composing soundtracks for video games, and also for some Italian software companies, simply using the synth processors and language machines.

Although Andrea owned his own studio and had collaborated successfully with a number of producers, he was about to throw in the towel after being badly ripped off. Alex convinced him to have another go... the pair sent a demo into Dino Lenny’s London based Age One label under the name Atlantis ITA and were signed in 1999 - their single 'See You In The Next Life', went on to become one of Oakie’s biggest records of the year and was featured in his Essential Mix CD.

Inspired by this Alex and Andrea went on to produce 'It’s Too Late' under the alias Flat 6, an Essential New Tune for Pete Tong, and the Ferry Corsten championed 'African Soul Anthem' as Arriva for IDJ.

Since then, they have worked with fellow Italian producer Dino Lanni to produce some fine pieces of production under numerous guises since the middle of 1995. Look forward to more releases in the future!
