Chicane has re-released one of his classic artist collections ‘Far From The Maddening Crowds’ dubbed the ‘Symphonic Rehersals’…
There is no doubt that Chicane has released some of the classic dance albums within the scene over the past 25. One such album is one of his earliest with ‘Far From The Maddening Crowds’ which delivered such records as ‘Offshore’ and ‘Sunstroke’. The album was his debut and came in 1997 nearly 30 years ago. The original album may well be nearly 3 decades old but its still one I play and will do for another 30 years. The music is timeless and was the launching platform that introduced the dance world to Chicane.
The album is one Chicane has now re-released, but not in its original dance form that you would expect. The ‘Symphonic Rehersals’ is very much a chill out style release which down tempo and beat less melody driven productions. It’s one to sit back and escape from the world enjoying all the bliss of the gorgeous melodies Chicane has crafted together from the original album. This is one for the collectors as it’s being released as a CD and limited edition Vinyl.
