 With the recent Nike advert which saw Junkie XL's involvement, more suprises ensued when it was discovered who sang the original track which was featured in that ad.. none other than the King himself.
Tom Holkenberg aka Junkie XL and his remix of Elvis's "Live a Little, Love a Little" is the feature track.
"Tom is very proud to be the first to have officialy remixed an Elvis tune. The song “A Little Less Conversation“ was first performed by Elvis in the movie “Live a Little, Love a Little" with a European release date is aimed for June 10th.
Other news is that he has just been producing music for the movie Resident Evil which came out Stateside a while ago whilst a European release is still pending, and also producing part of the premier debut album from Sasha's "Airdrawndagger".
Meanwhile on the homefront the first club 12“ is seeing some light. This track called "Breezer" is co-produced and co-written by Sasha. Already a highlight in his sets during the last Delta Heavy U.S. tour, it was also played in Pete Tong’s show last friday. The release is planned for the beginning of August. Keep on checking your local superstar DJ for this one.
Also to come, Tom's upcoming solo album is set for release this coming Autumn in about September, to add to the already growing list of solo albums to come; Sasha, Armin van Buuren, etc.
