Blutonium's 47th release brings about a superb production by DJ Mike aka Mike Schler and symbolizes the sound of German hard trance at the moment from one of the top labels in the industry.
Blutonium 047 is one of the latest in a series of superb releases from DJ Session One's Blutonium label. This track, produced by the producer name DJ Mike aptly titled "Ravin".
This is a double sided LP with 2 superb remixes:
A1. Extended Mix B1. DJ Virus Mix
The Extended Mix is the mix which aims to define the original track the most, just with the 'extended' touch to it I guess. The title of the track definitely fits the production very well, with a pummeling trance bassline and synth sequence for the first few minutes, before tumbling into the main melody, which is to me is very German Euro laiden, with its surging melodies and energetic rhythm, this is bound to keep the dance floor moving, bringing the best of the hard trance as well as the euro trance over the 7 and a half minutes which this track brings with.
DJ Virus is one of those producers which we should be looking out for, with his increasing number of remixes on Blutonium of the highest quality, and this one is no less.
Starting off with a subliminal bassline before rolling off into its heavy bassline and stabs. This mix being the 'harder' of the 2, this verges on the UK Hard House scene in terms of the bass and sequences before pushing into the break, which comes together nicely with a cool breakbeat score, reminding you of much of the sound emanating from mainland Europe lately.
Definitely the happier and more bouncy / harder of the 2 mixes and definitely the one i'd go for. A solid 7/10 for this LP.
