First came 'Miami' and now this little number. One mix has fire and the other has balls... confused? Read on then...
Boca's last release was 'Miami' and with the 'Biscayne Mix' being hammered by everyone, Boca told the nations what they were all about! Now this latest release is similar. Bells and African influences throughout; and with plays from: Judge Jules, Precision and Lady Dana, this is bound to be just as successful!
A1) Bellfire Mix B1) Balls Mix
A1) Bellfire Mix Starting off with a steady beat that kicks into a heavy, chunky driving bassline and then some 'cowbell' sounds join it - this tune already proves it's power! Metal stabs and many instrumental sounds that sound geniune rather than synthetic make a mish-mash of trancey goodness. A breakdown restores order to the track just to kick straight back with even more sounds and euphoria! This is a dancefloor frenzy on vinyl! Can't beat the beats, the drums, the whole atmosphere of this tune! Cracking tune...
B1) Balls Mix This instantly hits you; big, bassy, offbeat beats and a nice hithat sound. Some wierd drain-pipe sounds start and the vocals start... Boom! This big trancey/breakbeat monster just gained some dark, emotive and killer strings! Imagine vampires in the night, and howls in the moonlight - this is one erie mutha! The breakdown is just full of bass, you can feel the floor rumble - it's that deep! Watery screams start and a wierd sonar sound builds the tune into the beats again. Drills too? This tune has everything!
Conclusion: The 'Bellfire Mix' is a drum frenzy, and the 'Balls Mix' is a random sound frenzy - none-the-less both 10/10! Great release, one I'd recomend to anyone!
