Roberto Concina aka Robert Miles creator of the super star hit "Children", is currently working on a collaboration album with Trilok Gurtu. In addition, from the album "Oragnik" there will be some of his tracks featured on the big screen...
The collaboration album will be release on S:alt early next year and will be of electronic/nu-jazz nature. There will be at least three tracks for the clubs and more chilled tunes for ones listening pleasure. "Trilok has performed some of the most extraordinary drum patterns I have heard in the last few years! I can't wait to release this one", says Robert Miles.
On 1998 the movie titled 'Ever After: A Cinderella Story' with Drew Barrymore, featured the track "Fable", from Miles’s album "Dreamland" on one of it's trailers. This year from the album "Organik", there are some other tracks featured on the big screen. For example the track "Trance Shapes" is being used in the trailer for the next Matt Damon film called 'Bourne Identity' and "Improvisations -Part 1" is featured in the new documentary film called 'Derrida' co-directed by Kirby Dick and Amy Ziering Kofman. The film is about Jacques Derrida the famous French philosopher also know as the "Father of Deconstruction". The remaining music is scored and produced by R. Sakamoto.
