 SOUND SAMPLE

The Original Mix was played by Armin van Buuren on his State of Trance show back in March or so, and immediately caught everyone's attention. This release marks the first release which is expected, and more remixes to come of this awesome track.

The Original Mix highlights what Steve Helstrip is capable of delivering, and its a very balearic summery vocal trance track which breezes over the duration of the production and its beautiful chords, combined with its subtle bassline is definitely warmth to the speakers and is one of those Ibiza sunset tracks. Personally, I don't think this is meant for the big dance floor feel, but those early moments or afterhours moments when everyone is just chilling to the music. The vocals from Alexis Strum are definitely one of the best vocals on a track from this year so far. About 2-3 minutes into the track, a beautiful break ensues, and if played on loud speakers with the sun just rising the crowd would surely be going mad with bliss by now. The rest of the tracks shows an impressive combination of vocal talent, strings, chords and impressive breaks.

Moving onto the b-side, what can we expect from the masters of trance, Svenson & Gielen on the remix action? Nothing but more quality I'd expect. Although in the past few years, the quality of Svenson & Gielen Productions and Remixes have disappointed me slightly in comparison to their Airscape productions, this is definitely one for the better. Bringing in a more progressive front relative to the original track and also a bit more energetic to the Original Mix, which makes this a somewhat more appealing mix out of the 2 to play out to the crowds.

The key difference here is that the Svenson & Gielen Mix contains to immense breaks, whereas the Original Mix only contains the one after the first and is the Remix is a great atmospheric progressive trance track whereas the Original is more of the typical Thrillseekers trance we are accustomed to, by no means bad of course.

Definitely one of the best of this year so far, and more from Steve Helstrip is coming soon, so you all better watch out for Steve as he's going to be big this summer, with his other release under his "En-Motion" guise also hitting stores through Incentive Records soon.

Released on Data Records shortly, but promos are obtainable from any good record store (check link below).
