Chosen as new tune of the week, this has potential to be big with all the progressive DJ’s. Read on for the review....
Tracklisting: A: Original B: Stark 92 Remake
A: Original Starting off with a steady beat, some background sounds, and reoccurring loops. Quite rapidly into the song, the veil covering the most important part gets pulled back, and out pops the melody. A soothing melody which will take you to 7th heaven, if you are open for it. Halfway into the song, the melody takes a pause, and you get the breakdown. Spacy, dreamy sounds emerge from your speakers, with some really quiet vocals, until it all comes together and erupts like Mount St. Helens.
Great song in my opinion.
B: Stark 92 Remake Onto the B-Side now. Starting off on a completely different foot, it has more tribal elements to it. A double beat, not the 4/4 kind. It’s hard to hear any resemblance to the Original Mix, but that is a good thing. But when this mix progresses, you can hear the melody, but not in the same form as in the Original Mix. This remix adds enough to make it stand out, but it doesn’t benefit the song in its whole.
I prefer the Original Mix over the Stark 92 Remake, simply cause it’s more efficient, and it has much more feelings, emotions build into it.
