Newbe Italian artist: Charlie Fath is sending us an S.O.S. with this track, and with Stewart Rowell and Frank T.R.A.X.X. doing wot they do best with the remix duties, summer is only just beginning! Read on for the review...
When this arived in the post, I was quite excited... I'd already heard some good things about it, and Neo seem to re-release the classics these days, so I was almost certain this would be good.
Charly Fath's: 'S.O.S.' is doing the rounds with Tongy and has had alot of radio-play, so some of you may of heard it already? With remixes from Stewart Powell and Frank T.R.A.X.X. that are both very different, I can see house fans and trance fans both buying it, and I would recomend it to even the general music lover... summer time has just begun!
Charly Fath - S.O.S. (Stewart Rowell (P.O.D.) Mix) Charly Fath - S.O.S. (Frank T.R.A.X.X. Mix)
Charly Fath - S.O.S. (Stewart Rowell (P.O.D.) Mix) Funky opening, with a cool beat... nice housey start - for all you funky house fans anyway! Some guitar samples and nice stabs every now and again build the tune more and more, with reverse smashes and some familar vocals in a robotic, spaced-out voice. Pritty much where the tune starts and ends... Not bad tho!
Charly Fath - S.O.S. (Frank T.R.A.X.X. Mix) 'Nebuchann' all over again! Uplifting, melodic and euphoric! This guy can make a tune! With the same stabs as the other mix over the top of that Frank T.R.A.X.X. beat, you can already imagine how it sounds... and it rocks! The breakdown is very emotive, and resembles 'Nebuchan' almost exactly... 'Nebuchan 2' as it were - but who cares? Exactly! It's good, so buy it!
Go get it... should be out soon, with that slight commercial edge, you can expect a top 40 - so dont rush out, there will be plenty of copies! Get it tho! Great track!
