Earlier this week (July 18th to be precise) Gemini proudly unveiled the World's First Dual Transport CD/MP3 player. The new Gemini MP3000X looks similar to normal dual transport CD players yet it has the ability to play music CD's, CDR's and MP3 CD Roms also!
Over 150 songs can be stored at high fidelity (at 160kbs) on one CD rom. A mobile DJ can now travel lighter than ever before. On 10 CD roms you can have over 1500 songs that sound great. Club DJ's can now access the latest tracks from the internet and spin them immediately. (I'd like to see this happen - Mathew).
The player features a 2 rack space dual transport and a 3 rack space remote control.

This new arrival will have a street price of under $600 in the USA and be available in November this year.
Also released was a new DSP (Digital Signal Processing) mixer callled the FX-7000.

*1329 built in special effects settings including various Flange, Echo, Reverb, and Filters, Auto-panning effects

Available in November 2002 and steet priced in the USA for around $280.
