On the past Thursday, July 11th, BT gave a presentation to the members of The Society of Composers & Lyricists (SCL) on the finer points of scoring soundtracks for film...
BT did his presentation for Logic Audio and Propellerheads Reason. BT's every move on the computer was projected on the big screen at the Leonard H. Goldenson Theatre at The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences in North Hollywood.
During the presentation, BT focused on the creation of the high-energy cues from one of his best known scores from "The Fast and the Furious". He also took time to explain his techniques for time-correcting samples and discussed which plug-ins he prefers in different music-making and scoring scenarios.
