This song was premiered by Danny Tenaglia on his Back To Basics compilation, where a lot of people discovered this gem. Now, it has gotten a full release, with a superb remix on the flipside.
Spread over this 12” are the Original Mix and Max Reich Mayhem Mix.
The Original Mix is a stroke of geniality converted to music. Having every element that you could possibly want in a song: a great melody, vocals like you haven’t heard before, and a feel to it like you wouldn’t believe. Starting of mellow, with some piano notes, it speeds up to some opera vocals, and then it begins it journey through your mind. This song is one of the best songs of 2002 so far (in my opinion).
On the flipside we have a Max Reich Mayhem Mix, which sounding by the name, should be totally different, and it isn’t quite totally different. It keeps most of the parts used in the Original Mix, but he adds just enough to make the song sound even better. It has more ‘edge’ to the song. It infiltrates your veins till it runs throughout your whole body.
If you haven’t heard this song yet, then I strongly recommend you to go get it. The Original Mix is quality, but you really want the Max Reich Mayhem Mix, cause it’s beautiful.
