One of the Flash Brothers has released Chilling Moments, one of the best progressive songs to come out this year. John Digweed and Nick Muir took the track in their hands, and remixed this song for a Bedrock release. Read the review of the Tune Of The Week.
Tracklisting: A: Original Mix B: Bedrock Dub
A: Original Mix. Being quite simple at the start, the song keeps progressing and twirling, till it has a unique sound to it. About a minute into the song, there are extraordinary vocals, not saying or singing anything, just random singing (this is probably Isreali, not sure). The breakdown is just fantastic, dropping the beat, and adding some sounds, and then just building till it all comes together.
B: Bedrock Dub . When hearing the Bedrock Dub at the start, you don’t recognize anything of the Original Mix. But shortly in the song, you hear that distinctive voice, setting the mood for this outstanding Dub. This Dub sounds completely different from the Original, but it keeps the most essential element, the voice. I think that the Dub is much better then the Original Mix, it sounds more progressive, more fresh.
This song was chosen as Tune Of The Week, simply cause it’s beautiful, effective, and not like all those other songs getting released. This is a unique song, which is quite hard to make nowadays. GET IT!!
